At the time, we had to educate everyone about the possibilities of wind machines in frost protection. Additionally, we had to explain about inversion layers. This is the phenomena where the air is colder at tree level than it is at 15 m height.
Of course we have been tested many times. We had to protect orchards at the most frost sensitive places as people wanted to see if it really worked. If it indeed can protect the worst places. And, yes, we succeeded.
